Rama Lake
Rama Lake is one of the most famous lakes in Pakistan, located near the Astor Valley in Gilgit, Baltistan, Pakistan. The lake is located on top of the beautiful valley of Astor, surrounded by lush green and oak trees. The valley is densely forested with large pine, pine, juniper and fur trees. The valley is about 33,300 meters above sea level and is covered with snow for about 7-8 months of the year. While the valley is lush and lush during the summer, it is the most favorable for local shepherds. There are three lakes in the local Shena language on the way from Astor Valley to Rama Lake Valley.

The lake is about a 4-5 hour drive from Gilgit. From Concordia, the lake is about 2 hours away. To get to Rama Meadows, take the KKH from Gilgit to Sost and then turn right towards Astore. The meadows are about a 3-4 hour drive from Gilgit. From Concordia, the meadows are about 1.5 hours away. Both Rama Lake and Rama Meadows can be easily reached by public transport or by private jeep.
