Trek to Ratti Gali Lake in Neelum Valley Kashmir

Ratti Gali Lake can also be reached by a 6 kilometer hike from Dawar, the last village in Kel. The best time to visit Ratti Gali Lake is from June to September. During this time, the weather is pleasant and the lake is full of water. Private cars are not allowed beyond Kel, so visitors must either walk or take a jeep to reach the lake. There is a small Tourist Bungalow at the lake which can be booked in advance for overnight stays. The bungalow has a restaurant that serves simple Pakistan cuisine. There are also a few tents available for rent. Ratti Gali Lake is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the incredible views of the surrounding mountains.
