Shogran is a hill station in the Kaghan Valley of northern Pakistan, located at an elevation of 7,749 feet or 2,362 meters above sea level. Shogran is 36 kilometers from Balakot.

Shogran is located 34 kilometers north of Balakot. The road from Islamabad to Kiwai is made of tarmac and has a length of 212 kilometers. You may ride a Jeep, horse, or trek to picturesque locations such as Siri, Paye, and Makra Peak from Shogran.

The weather in the mountains is unpredictable and often extreme, with thunderstorms and torrential downpours keeping the environment chilly. Warm clothing is advised for nights since temperatures may drop to as low as -20 degrees. Throughout the winter season, heavy snow covers the valley.
